The World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Cities & Urbanization, Smart Dubai, the MIT Senseable City Lab & PwC cordially invite you to join us for the “Forum on Future Cities: City Preparedness for the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR)”. On Monday, November 13, 2017, thought leaders, industry heads, researchers, city officials and citizens at large will meet in Dubai for a one-day exclusive seminar that will explore challenges, trends, and current issues impacting big data, digital technology and the urban landscape.
The event will comprise a keynote address introducing the 4IR and its applications in cities, explore examples from Smart Dubai, and include three focused sessions on how cities can leverage innovation in technology to address transformational challenges in mobility, construction and environmental sustainability.
This seminar will mark the launch of the Cities & 4IR Project, as approved by the World Economic Forum’s Board of Trustees.
